Fellowship

If you have attended one or more of our services and would like to be considered for membership, we would encourage you to speak with Rev. Karen A. Mendes. Anyone is welcome to attend Rev. Mendes’ Visitors’ Gathering class to learn the history of American Baptists and what it means to be a member of a vibrant church history.

The Fellowship Team may be described as the group which looks after the spiritual welfare of our congregational life. They specifically arranges for: Believer’s Baptism (held as needed) and the Lord’s Supper (held on the first Sunday of each month), among other activities designed to strengthen our community bonds and care for spiritual needs. They also take responsibility for decorating our sanctuary for the various seasons of the church year.

Individuals may join the church by baptism, or transferring their membership from another Christian church or by “profession of faith,” describing their belief in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Persons seeking membership will meet with the Pastor and then with the Membership team who then recommends individuals to the congregation for membership.
